Only if you want to participate. Co.Lab at The Watermelon Room is open to the public to watch the entire evening and performances, and even to vote for their favorite songs between rounds. But in order to participate in the writing then you'll need to register for one of the 16 spots available at each session. You can sign up on EventBrite

The Watermelon Room is at 2102 Mace St. in Baltimore, MD. Street parking is free after 6pm so it is recommended you park on 21st street between Maryland Ave and Howard Street. DO NOT PARK AT THE GROCERY STORE LOT OR ON MACE AVENUE. THERE IS A CHANCE YOU WILL GET TOWED.

Mace Street looks a bit like an alley, and if you happen to walk down that alley and no one is waiting outside, you will notice the door to The Watermelon Room is a Blue Metal Door. You may notice a watermelon magnet on it, or a pair of eyes (yes, eyes). The door will likely be locked, but if you knock on that Big Blue Door then someone will hear it and come running.
